Concept
Opulent Diplomat embodies global sophistication, inspired by refined travel and cultural exploration. The aesthetic blends Parisian glamour, South African earthiness, Aspen luxury, Tuscan warmth, and Tokyo minimalism. Soft champagne tones, tailored textiles, and layered lighting meet organic textures, curated artwork, and wine-country hues. Rich woods, cozy leathers, and hearth-like accents create inviting spaces to gather, while sleek surfaces and eclectic touches provide a modern counterpoint—resulting in interiors that feel cultured, confident, and effortlessly inviting.
Materials & Finishes
Working collaboratively with my design partner, we divided responsibility for the project, each overseeing half of the rooms to efficiently meet client needs and project deadlines. This project challenged me to design within a residential context while thoughtfully reflecting the client’s personal narrative. As a political consultant, the client sought an elevated home environment that balanced professionalism with comfort. The resulting apartment feels open and refined, offering a sense of luxury while providing ample space for hosting and entertaining guests.
